Valleyview Medical Centre is committed to digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Standards
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and to meet the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (Ontario Regulation 191/11).
Measures taken
- Semantic page structure and headings
- Keyboard access to interactive elements, with visible focus indicators
- Text alternatives for meaningful images
- Labels and roles on custom controls
- A responsive layout that works across devices and supports browser zoom
- Reduced motion for visitors who prefer less animation
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as Google Maps and the Ocean online booking pages, may not be fully accessible. If you need information in another format, please contact your clinic.
